About the role
The Regulatory Affairs Co-Op will support Haleon's U.S. Regulatory Affairs team by organizing, reviewing, and categorizing historical FDA submissions, correspondence, and regulatory documentation. This role will help build a centralized repository of regulatory knowledge that can be leveraged to support future submissions, product development activities, and innovation efforts.
Regulatory Affairs sits at the intersection of many business functions, including Research & Development, Clinical, Quality, Safety, and Commercial teams. Through this co-op, students will gain exposure to the regulatory processes that support a diverse portfolio of consumer healthcare products, including OTC medicines, medical devices, and dietary supplements. The role provides an excellent introduction to the consumer health and pharmaceutical industries while developing skills in regulatory documentation, data management, and regulatory systems.
Key Responsibilities
- Support the management and organization of FDA submissions, correspondence, and regulatory records.
- Maintain regulatory databases, tracking tools, and documentation to ensure data accuracy and accessibility.
- Review historical regulatory information to identify trends, insights, and key learnings.
- Prepare summaries and presentations to support Regulatory Affairs projects and knowledge management initiatives.
- Collaborate with team members on data management and continuous improvement efforts.
Essential Qualifications
- Currently enrolled in a Bachelor's degree program in Life Sciences, Biology, Chemistry, Pharmacy, Public Health, Health Sciences, Regulatory Science, or a related field, graduating between December 2027 and May 2028.
- Proficient in Microsoft Excel and Word.
- Strong attention to detail with the ability to organize and manage data, records, and documentation.
- Able to work accurately with information across multiple systems and databases.
Preferred Qualifications
- Interest in consumer healthcare, pharmaceuticals, or Regulatory Affairs.
- Strong organizational, analytical, and communication skills.
- Previous internship, research, academic project, laboratory, or administrative experience.
Eligibility and Program Requirements:
- This internship requires working at the designated location. Candidates requiring relocation are responsible for arranging and funding their own housing, transportation, and relocation needs.
- Candidate must be able to work full-time (40 hours/ week) Monday-Friday ~8am-5pm for 6 months.
- Candidate must be authorized to work in the United States and will not require sponsorship in the future. Work authorization documentation will be required during the application process.
- The position is based in Warren, NJ requiring an in-office presence of 3 days per week
Expected start date: January 2027, potential to extend an additional 6 months
Compensation for this Co Op is based on academic standing and degree program:
- Freshman: $20.00/hour
- Sophomore: $22.50/hour
- Junior: $24.50/hour
- Senior: $26.00/hour
- Master's Student (Non-Engineering): $28.00/hour
- Master's Student (Engineering): $30.00/hour
