Long Term Substitute English Language Arts Teacher

Northland Community Schools is seeking a Long Term Substitute English Language Arts teacher for grades 7-12. This role is essential in providing continuity in the classroom during the absence of the regular teacher. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in English language arts, excellent communication skills, and a commitment to fostering a positive and engaging learning environment.

This assignment begins on approximately December 12, 2026 and is expected to end March 3, 2027.

Requirements- Valid teaching license in English language arts (or eligibility for certification).- Previous teaching or substitute teaching experience preferred.- Strong knowledge of English language arts curriculum and instructional strategies.- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.- Ability to adapt teaching methods to meet the diverse needs of students.- Proficiency in using technology for teaching and classroom management.- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.- Commitment to fostering an inclusive and supportive learning environment.

Salary: Long-Term Sub rate of $199.26 per day.
