Marketing Intern
Marketing Intern
Location: Boston preferred, other locations open
Work Model: Flexible / Hybrid
Employment Type: Internship, Part-Time or Full-Time
About the Role
We’re looking for a Marketing Intern to join Node as we ramp through beta and move toward public release.
You’ll work across social media, content, brand, events, partnerships, community, and broader go-to-market. This is a hands-on role for someone who follows consumer brands and culture, enjoys creating, and wants exposure to how an early-stage consumer company builds both its product and audience.
You’ll work closely with the founder and broader team and have opportunities to own projects rather than only support them.
What you’ll do
- Help create and manage content across Instagram, TikTok, LinkedIn, and other relevant platforms
- Support short-form video, photography, captions, copy, and day-to-day social content
- Help identify interesting stories across product development, engineering, design, events, partnerships, and company building
- Research consumer, cultural, design, fashion, sport, technology, and social trends relevant to Node
- Support creator, athlete, community, brand, and partnership outreach
- Help with events, product activations, beta programs, and other go-to-market initiatives
- Assist with content planning, channel performance, and campaign execution
- Contribute ideas for how Node can continue building its audience and brand ahead of public release
About you
- Strong interest in marketing, consumer brands, social media, and culture
- Strong writing and communication skills
- Comfortable with social platforms and short-form content
- Good visual instincts and attention to detail
- Curious, proactive, and comfortable taking ownership of projects
- Able to work quickly and adapt as priorities change
- Currently pursuing or recently completed a degree in marketing, communications, business, design, media, or another relevant field
Nice to have
- Experience creating or editing short-form video
- Experience running social accounts, either personally or for an organization
- Familiarity with tools such as Canva, Adobe Creative Suite, CapCut, Figma, or similar
- Experience with events, campus organizations, creator marketing, or community building
- Interest in consumer technology, fashion, sport, lifestyle, media, or startups
- A portfolio, social account, project, or other work that shows how you think creatively
What we offer
- Paid internship
- Flexible scheduling around school or other commitments
- Direct exposure to brand, product, partnerships, events, and go-to-market
- Meaningful project ownership within a small team
- Opportunity to work closely with a consumer product as it moves from beta toward public release
We’re looking across a range of backgrounds and disciplines. If the work feels relevant to your interests and experience, we encourage you to apply even if you do not match every qualification.
