The Role
The Investor Relations Specialist plays a key role in executing RedChip's investor outreach programs and supporting the capital markets objectives of our public-company clients.
This position provides direct exposure to CEOs, CFOs, institutional investors, portfolio managers, Registered Investment Advisors, family offices, analysts, investment bankers, and other participants across the public markets.
The ideal candidate is highly organized, comfortable communicating with investors and senior executives, and motivated to develop a strong understanding of public companies, financial markets, and investor relations.
Responsibilities
- Identify, qualify, and engage institutional investors, Registered Investment Advisors, family offices, accredited investors, brokers, analysts, and other market participants for RedChip client companies.
- Conduct outbound investor outreach and coordinate one-on-one meetings between investors and public-company management teams.
- Develop an understanding of each client's investment thesis, industry, financial profile, catalysts, competitive positioning, and capital markets objectives.
- Manage client relationships and help ensure the successful execution of investor relations programs.
- Coordinate client onboarding, investor targeting, meetings, roadshows, webinars, conferences, and other investor-facing initiatives.
- Maintain detailed investor and client activity records in the CRM and internal reporting systems.
- Track investor feedback and communicate relevant market intelligence to clients and RedChip management.
- Assist with investor presentations, fact sheets, corporate messaging, shareholder communications, and other investor relations materials.
- Monitor company news, SEC filings, trading activity, peer companies, and relevant industry developments.
- Use RedChip's technology and financial data platforms, including Salesforce, Notion, financial databases, investor intelligence tools, and other capital markets software.
- Support companies preparing for IPOs, uplistings, and other capital markets transactions, including financial analysis, investor positioning, business plans, financial models, and offering materials.
- Work closely with RedChip's media, research, marketing, and capital markets teams to execute integrated client campaigns.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree required; finance, economics, business, marketing, or a related field preferred.
- Four or more years of professional experience, preferably in sales, investor relations, financial services, capital markets, or business development.
- Strong verbal communication skills and confidence speaking by phone with investors and senior executives.
- Excellent written communication and presentation skills.
- Strong organizational and account-management capabilities.
- Ability to manage multiple client relationships and priorities simultaneously.
- Highly motivated, detail-oriented, and accountable.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Working knowledge of financial markets and public companies strongly preferred.
- Experience with Salesforce or another CRM platform preferred.
- Understanding of financial statements, SEC filings, market capitalization, valuation, and other fundamental investment concepts is a plus.
