Junior Data Analyst
We're looking for a Junior Data Analyst to support our data analytics, client data exchange, and account workflow operations. The analyst will ensure data moves accurately between systems and clients, support reporting needs, and help build and refine the processes that keep our workflow running smoothly. This is a great opportunity for someone early in their data analytics career, who wants hands-on exposure to SQL, business intelligence tools, and real operational problem-solving.
What You'll Do
• Support client data exchange processes: preparing, formatting, validating, and troubleshooting inbound/outbound file transfers (placements, returns, updates, payment files)
• Help coordinate, monitor and maintain account workflow processes, identifying discrepancies, delays, or errors and escalating or resolving as appropriate
• Develop and troubleshoot SQL queries in the Azure environment to investigate data issues and provide meaningful data to management and operations
• Build and maintain reports and Power BI dashboards to track account status, workflow throughput, and client-specific metrics
• Support ad hoc projects related to process improvement, automation, and data quality
• Document workflows, data mapping specifications, and standard operating procedures
• Maintain confidentiality, accuracy and adherence to IT protocols given the sensitivity of consumer account data
What We're Looking For
• 1-3 years of experience in data analysis, business/workflow analysis, or a related field
• Comfortable working with data in Excel and SQL; Python is a plus
• Exposure to Power BI, Power Apps, or similar tools is a plus
• Familiarity with file exchange formats (CSV, fixed-width, XML) and secure file transfer processes
• Prior exposure to a Microsoft-based data stack (SQL Server, Azure, M365)
• Strong attention to detail, excellent written and verbal communication skills for coordinating with clients and internal teams
• Ability to manage multiple tasks and deadlines in a fast-paced ever-changing environment
• Bachelor's degree in a relevant field preferred but not required with equivalent experience
