Afterschool Tutor

Children of the City, in Sunset Park Brooklyn, is a non-profit organization that is looking to recruit tutors for its upcoming 2026/2027 Afterschool Program. We encourage you to apply!

• Our Program runs September 2026 - June 2027 at three different sites with flexible days based on your availability. Monday - Friday (All or partial days)
  • Site 1 Hours: Monday - Thursday 3:30pm - 6:30 pm, Fridays 12:00pm - 6:30pm 
  • Site 2 Hours: Monday - Thursday 4:00pm - 6:00pm, Fridays 12:30 pm - 6:00pm
  • Site 3 Hours: Monday - Friday 2:15pm - 5:45pm

About our Afterschool Program:

• Kinder-5th Grade Students
• Focused on Literacy, Math, Homework Help and Recreational Activities
• Located in the beautiful neighborhood of Sunset Park and Downtown Brooklyn

Requirements for the Position:

• Applicants must currently be enrolled in college, have completed college level courses, or are college graduates
• No childcare experience required
• No certifications are required
• Tutors would preferably be available to work the entire school year (September '26 - June '27), with some flexibility
