Job Summary
The Marketing Coordinator supports the day-to-day execution of marketing programs across the Cascade Beverage portfolio. This is a hands-on, entry-level marketing role with a strong focus on events, retail marketing, sales merchandising, and general marketing support.
The Marketing Coordinator will work closely with the Marketing and Sales teams to help bring brand programs to life in the market. Responsibilities include coordinating events and activations, supporting retail displays and merchandising, managing marketing materials, assisting with digital and email marketing, and helping ensure our brands are represented consistently across consumer and trade touchpoints.
This position is ideal for someone who is organized, creative, resourceful, and comfortable balancing office-based marketing projects with hands-on work in the field.
Duties & Responsibilities
Marketing Support
- Support the execution of marketing campaigns and seasonal brand programs across the Cascade Beverage portfolio.
- Assist with email marketing, including building newsletters, maintaining contact lists, proofreading content, testing emails, and scheduling campaigns.
- Assist with social media content creation, scheduling, community engagement, and ongoing channel maintenance.
- Write and edit basic marketing copy for email, social media, websites, sales materials, signage, and other brand communications.
- Make updates to company and brand websites as needed.
- Assist with the creation and adaptation of marketing materials using existing brand guidelines and templates.
- Coordinate ordering, organization, inventory, and distribution of marketing materials, merchandise, signage, and promotional items.
- Maintain organized digital marketing files, photo assets, templates, and other shared resources.
- Assist with basic photography and content capture for social media, events, retail programs, and other marketing needs.
- Conduct research on competitors, consumer trends, events, potential partnerships, and other marketing opportunities.
- Track basic marketing program results and assist with campaign recaps and reporting.
Events & Activations
- Support the planning and execution of consumer events, tastings, sponsorships, festivals, account activations, and other brand events.
- Coordinate event logistics including product, signage, supplies, merchandise, staffing materials, and other event needs.
- Prepare and organize event kits and ensure materials are ready for upcoming activations.
- Attend events as needed to assist with setup, execution, consumer engagement, content capture, and breakdown.
- Help maintain the company event calendar and track upcoming deadlines and deliverables.
- Assist with post-event recaps, including attendance, sales, photos, learnings, and other relevant results.
- Coordinate with internal teams and outside partners to ensure event details and brand expectations are communicated clearly.
Retail & Sales Merchandising Support
- Partner with the Sales team to execute retail marketing programs and improve brand visibility in key accounts.
- Assist with the installation and maintenance of retail displays, case stacks, shelf signage, coolers, posters, case cards, and other point-of-sale materials.
- Visit priority retail accounts as assigned to merchandise products, refresh displays, place POS materials, and ensure displays remain clean, stocked, and on brand.
- Support seasonal Power Period programs and other retail initiatives by preparing and distributing materials to the Sales team.
- Help track retail program participation, display execution, and merchandising results.
- Take photos of displays and retail execution for internal tracking and marketing use.
- Assist with maintaining an accurate inventory of sales and merchandising materials.
- Prepare and organize materials for sales representatives based on account needs, territory size, and current programs.
- Support special retail projects, new product launches, account activations, and other sales initiatives as needed.
General Support
- Collaborate with Marketing, Sales, Tasting Room, and Operations teams on projects and programs.
- Help ensure consistent brand presentation across consumer, retail, event, and digital touchpoints.
- Manage multiple projects and deadlines while communicating status, needs, and potential issues proactively.
- Provide administrative and project coordination support to the Marketing department.
- Assist with other marketing, event, retail, and sales support projects as needed.
- Perform other duties as assigned.

- Experience with Canva or similar design platforms preferred.
- Ability to maintain brand standards while working across multiple brands and projects.
- Reliable transportation and ability to travel locally to retail accounts, events, and activations as needed.
- Ability to occasionally work evenings and weekends for events and activations.
Education & Experience
- Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, Public Relations, Business, or a related field preferred but not required.
- 0–2 years of marketing, events, retail, hospitality, merchandising, or related experience preferred.
- Experience in beverage alcohol, consumer packaged goods, hospitality, events, or retail is a plus.
- Must be 21 years of age or older due to the nature of the position.
- Must be able to obtain and maintain an Oregon Alcohol Server Education permit as required.
- Must have a valid drivers license.
Physical Requirements
- Ability to lift and carry up to 50 pounds.
- Ability to transport marketing materials, event supplies, cases, signage, and merchandising materials.
- Ability to stand and move for extended periods during events, tastings, and retail merchandising.
- Ability to set up and break down event and retail displays.
