Gymnastics Instructor

About Us:
Evolve Gymnastics Club is a growing, athlete-centered program located in Watertown, MA. As we wrap up our second year, we are excited to continue building a strong and supportive team environment. We are currently looking to add a coach with team experience who is passionate about athlete development and helping shape the future of our program. We are also willing to train the right candidate who is eager to learn and grow within a team setting.

Job Responsibilities:

• Coach Xcel team levels (Bronze–Platinum) during practices and competitions
• Develop lesson plans aligned with USA Gymnastics Xcel program guidelines
• Provide safe, technical instruction on all events (vault, bars, beam, floor)
• Support athlete progression, confidence, and goal setting
• Foster a positive, team-focused training environment
• Communicate effectively with athletes, parents, and staff
• Attend meets, clinics, and team events as needed

Qualifications:

• Previous experience coaching competitive gymnastics team preferred (Xcel a plus)
• Willingness to learn and grow (training provided for the right candidate)
• Current USA Gymnastics membership (or willingness to obtain)
• Safety certification (SafeSport, CPR/First Aid preferred)
• Strong communication, leadership, and organizational skills
• Positive attitude and passion for working with athletes

Schedule:

• Weekdays 3:00pm - 8:00pm
• Weekend availability required
• 10 - 25 hours per week

Compensation:

• Pay will be dependent upon experience
