Pure Health and Wellness Treatment Center, PLLC (PURE) is seeking compassionate and motivated Virginia Residents in Counseling to join our growing tele-health practice.

This opportunity is ideal for recent Clinical Mental Health Counseling graduates who are looking for a supportive environment to build clinical skills, develop their professional identity, and work toward independent licensure.

Pure Health and Wellness Treatment Center, PLLC is an outpatient mental health practice committed to providing compassionate, culturally responsive mental health services while supporting the development of emerging clinicians.

Our goal is to provide Residents in Counseling with more than required supervision hours. Residents receive space to strengthen clinical judgment, explore professional identity, discuss ethical concerns, improve documentation skills, prepare for licensure, and develop confidence as independent clinicians.

Position Responsibilities

Residents will:

Provide individual outpatient psychotherapy via telehealth

Complete diagnostic assessments as appropriate

Develop and maintain individualized treatment plans

Complete timely clinical documentation and progress notes

Use the DSM-5-TR and ICD-10 for diagnostic documentation

Maintain HIPAA-compliant clinical practices

Participate in clinical supervision

Consult regarding client needs, treatment progress, and ethical concerns

Collaborate with other providers when clinically appropriate

Maintain an active caseload of at least 8 clients

Engage in ongoing professional development and self-care

Qualifications

Applicants must:

Have completed or be nearing completion of a master’s degree in Clinical Mental Health Counseling, Professional Counseling, or another Virginia Board-approved counseling program

Be eligible to register or already approved as a Resident in Counseling in Virginia

Demonstrate strong interpersonal and communication skills

Be comfortable providing telehealth services

Be willing to receive feedback and participate actively in supervision

Demonstrate professionalism, dependability, and ethical clinical practice

Be able to complete accurate and timely clinical documentation
