Undergraduate Psychology Intern

Undergraduate Psychology Internship/Pre-Apprenticeship Program 

The Center for Psychology Services, a behavioral health company in Arlington, Texas, has four spots available for internships for the Fall/Winter session. Interns would gain experience helping with our transition to Electronic Health Records (EHR), learn about instruments we use to complete psychological evaluations, observe how a psychology practice operates, and participate in social skills groups for children.  Tasks include copying, scanning, and filing documents, completing tasks in preparation for QMHP Certification, and supporting current QMHPs in behavior intervention groups. Learning experiences will be directly supervised by Qualified Mental Health Professionals, with weekly didactics provided by psychologists, postdoctoral psychology candidates, and doctoral interns. Candidates also have the potential to transition to part-time paid positions in the summer/fall, similar to students we have had in the past. This is an unpaid internship experience with 10-12 hours a 10-hour-a-week minimum requirement. The student needs to be available for the Wednesday evening skills group and four hours on Friday. All work is completed onsite at our Arlington office. Must be able to pass a background check.
