Purpose of the Position
The Marketing & Business Support Intern will support the team through administrative coordination, market research, and business analysis activities. This role will assist with operational tasks, gather market intelligence, and help provide insights that support business development, customer engagement, and strategic decision-making.
Main Tasks
- Conduct market research on industry trends, customer needs, and competitor activity.
- Gather and analyze market intelligence, including voice-of-customer feedback and market share information.
- Conduct market and competitor research to support sales strategy and business development initiatives.
- Support the development of reports, presentations, and summaries that communicate research findings and business insights.
- Maintain records, documentation, and business information to ensure accuracy and efficiency.
- Assist with tracking and organizing competitive information and market data.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to support business development and strategic initiatives.
- Present project findings and recommendations to team members and stakeholders.
- Participate in mentoring, training, and professional development opportunities throughout the internship.
Requirements Profile
- Currently pursuing a bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Business Administration, Data Analytics, or a related field.
- Grade Level: Junior or Senior standing at an accredited college or university.
- Strong organizational and administrative skills with exceptional attention to detail.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint, Word, and Office 365 applications.
- Ability to gather, organize, and analyze information from multiple sources.
- Strong analytical skills, with the ability to interpret data and translate it into actionable insights.
- Familiarity with CRM and prospecting tools (e.g., LinkedIn Sales Navigator, ZoomInfo) is a plus.
- Experience with AI tools to analyze data is a plus.
- Strong problem-solving and critical-thinking skills.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
- Interest in market research, business development, sales support, and customer insights.
