Fifth Grade Teacher

2026–2027 School Year

West Seneca Christian School is seeking a dedicated, Christ-centered educator to join our school family as a full-time 5th grade teacher for the 2026–2027 school year.

We are looking for a teacher who is passionate about both academic excellence and Christian discipleship—someone who desires to make a lasting impact in the lives of students while partnering closely with Christian families in their children's education and spiritual growth.

About West Seneca Christian School

Located just outside Buffalo, New York, WSCS provides a close-knit Christian learning environment where teachers have the opportunity to know their students and families personally. Most of our classes have fewer than 15 students, allowing teachers to provide individualized attention and build meaningful relationships.

WSCS is a member school of and accredited by the New York Association of Christian Schools. Our curriculum incorporates materials from Bob Jones University Press and Orton-Gillingham, along with other resources selected to support strong academic instruction from a biblical worldview.

We Are Looking for a Teacher Who:

Has at least an undergraduate degree in education

Demonstrates a personal commitment to Jesus Christ and a desire to integrate a biblical worldview throughout the classroom

Loves working with upper-elementary students and helping them grow academically, socially, and spiritually

Values strong relationships and communication with parents

Enjoys collaborating with fellow teachers and staff in a small-school environment

Is organized, dependable, flexible, and enthusiastic about contributing to the broader life of the school

Is willing to become an active member of First Baptist Church of West Seneca upon employment
