Lab Technician II

We are looking for a hands-on **Laboratory Technician** to support laboratory testing, quality control, sample management, and product testing activities.

What You'll Do* Perform laboratory testing according to SOPs, procedures, and specifications.* Prepare, label, handle, log, and track samples.* Operate, calibrate, maintain, and troubleshoot laboratory equipment.* Perform analytical and quality control testing.* Record and report test results accurately.* Maintain laboratory records, testing logs, and documentation.* Support QA/QC activities and product quality investigations.* Assist engineering and technical teams with product testing and validation.* Help investigate failed or out-of-specification test results.* Follow all laboratory safety and PPE requirements.* Keep the laboratory clean, organized, and safe.

### What We're Looking For

* Hands-on laboratory testing experience.* Experience with sample preparation and handling.* Experience operating laboratory equipment/instruments.* Strong documentation and data-recording skills.* Experience with QA/QC or quality testing.* Ability to follow SOPs and technical procedures.* Strong attention to detail and safety awareness.* High School Diploma/GED required.

Preferred Experience

Experience with any of the following is a plus:

* Titration* Viscosity testing* Density testing* Pour/freezing point testing* Hydrocarbon or petroleum testing* Material compatibility testing* Laboratory equipment troubleshooting* Failure/out-of-specification investigations* Sample tracking systems such as Starlink* Chemical, oil & gas, petroleum, manufacturing, or materials testing

**Education/Experience:** Associate Degree in Chemistry, Engineering Technology, Applied Science, or a related field is preferred. Candidates with a High School Diploma/GED should ideally have 2–3+ years of hands-on laboratory experience.

**Important:** This is a hands-on laboratory position. Candidates should be comfortable working onsite in **Sugar Land, TX.
