Spring 2027 Congressman Fulcher District Internship
Accepting applications for Spring 2026 District Internship
Interns are an intricate part of a smooth-running office in the district offices. Congressman Fulcher invites college students and young adults to gain invaluable work experience during three sessions: Fall, Spring, and Summer. As a member of the staff, the work can be challenging, fast-paced, and unlike many other internships with the cultural and historical implications of working within Idaho's district offices
There are many duties interns take on depending on their ability or interest. These duties include but are not limited to:
- Answer constituent calls to assist them in finding the information they are seeking
- Research legislation for the Member and legislative staff
- Open and distribute mail
- Work with our Casework Team to assist constituents
Although education is essential, we do not turn away interns based on grade point average, collegiate major, or if they have been politically active. We instead want to understand how the student will be an asset to our team. Congressman Fulcher works on a wide range of issues that everyone can find a niche to work hard to facilitate a fun, welcoming, and inquisitive environment.
Offering both full time and part time internships for the Meridian Office.
