About the role
You'll work alongside our engineering team on real client environments: documenting networks, cleaning up systems, and building the processes that keep dozens of businesses running. You'll see how an MSP actually operates behind the scenes, from Active Directory to firewalls to automation, and leave with experience most students don't get until their second job.
What you'll actually do
- Review Active Directory for stale accounts and excessive admin permissions
- Build and maintain network documentation and diagrams
- Help write SOPs our engineers use every day
- Assist with organizing and restructuring file server data
- Stage and configure network equipment before deployment
- Help evaluate new tools and applications before we roll them out to clients
- Get exposure to ConnectWise, NinjaRMM, PRTG, and Rewst automation
Who we're looking for
- Working knowledge of TCP/IP, subnetting, DNS, DHCP, and basic switching and VLANs (or a strong desire to learn them fast)
- Detail-oriented, since documentation is only useful if it's right
- Comfortable asking questions and explaining technical issues in plain English
- Interested in certifications like CompTIA Network+ or CCNA (a plus, not required
