Student Worker, Customer Support
Job Description
The Student Worker, Customer Support provides customer support by proactively monitoring ArcBest shipments and quickly resolving problems as they arise.
Responsibilities
* Communicate shipment status to both internal and external customers.
* Find, recommend, and implement solutions to problems.
* Operate office machines, such as photocopiers, facsimile machines, voice mail systems, and personal computers.
* Type, format, proofread, and edit correspondence and other documents using computers.
* Other duties and projects, as assigned.
Requirements
Education:
* Pursuing Bachelor's Degree, required
Experience:
* No prior experience necessary
Computer Skills:
* Basic competence in phone skills, listening, and computer programs like Microsoft Office Outlook.

Other Details
Work Hours:
* This is a part time position that will average fewer than 30 hours per week. Work hours generally fall between 8:00 am - 5:00 pm with occasional irregular hours depending on workload.

Compensation:
* This is an hourly position paid biweekly.
