About the Role
Unity Bands is seeking motivated students and early-career professionals interested in developing practical leadership, project management, and organizational problem-solving experience.
The Leadership Development Associate is a project-based role designed for individuals who want meaningful ownership rather than traditional administrative volunteer work. Associates will work on real organizational priorities, collaborate across functions, and have opportunities to take projects from idea through execution.
Projects may involve operations, programs, partnerships, marketing, research, people strategy, process improvement, or other organizational needs based on the Associate's interests, strengths, and current Unity Bands priorities.
What You'll Do
- Own projects or initiatives from planning through completion
- Help identify organizational challenges and develop practical solutions
- Conduct research and turn findings into recommendations or action plans
- Collaborate with team members across different departments
- Present project updates, recommendations, or completed work to leadership
- Help improve processes, systems, programs, or organizational practices
- Take on increasing responsibility as you demonstrate strong execution and judgment
