Senior UX/UI Designer

Senior UX/UI Designer

ProMazo | Remote

ProMazo is looking for a Senior UX/UI Designer to play a key role in the next evolution of our platform.

ProMazo builds technology that powers mentorship and internship programs for Fortune 500 companies. Our platform is used to manage the full participant experience, from onboarding and matching to scheduling, communication, learning, meetings, tracking, and program administration.

We’re at an exciting stage of growth and are looking for a designer who can work directly with our Founder and CTO to rethink the existing product, improve the user experience, and design new features from the ground up.

This is a highly collaborative, hands-on role with significant ownership. You won't simply be handed requirements and asked to make screens, you'll help determine what we should build, why we should build it, and how it should work.

What You'll Do

  • Partner directly with the Founder and CTO to shape the UX/UI direction of the ProMazo platform
  • Lead UX/UI design for major product redesigns and new feature development
  • Translate complex business requirements into intuitive, elegant user experiences
  • Conduct user research and gather feedback to understand the needs of mentors, mentees, interns, managers, and program administrators
  • Create user flows, wireframes, prototypes, and high-fidelity designs
  • Develop and maintain a consistent design system across the platform
  • Collaborate closely with engineering to ensure designs are implemented effectively
  • Iterate quickly based on user feedback, product data, and technical considerations
  • Help identify opportunities to simplify workflows and make the platform easier and more enjoyable to use
  • Think beyond individual screens and consider the entire end-to-end user journey
  • Balance user needs, business objectives, and technical feasibility when making design decisions

What We're Looking For

  • 5+ years of UX/UI or product design experience
  • Strong portfolio demonstrating excellent UX thinking and polished UI design
  • Experience designing web-based SaaS or B2B products
  • Strong understanding of user-centered design principles and product thinking
  • Ability to take an ambiguous problem and turn it into a clear, intuitive experience
  • Experience creating user flows, wireframes, prototypes, and high-fidelity designs
  • Strong understanding of responsive web design and modern design systems
  • Experience working closely with engineers and product/technical leadership
  • Excellent communication skills and the ability to explain the "why" behind design decisions
  • Comfortable working in a fast-paced environment where priorities can evolve quickly
  • Self-directed, curious, and willing to take ownership from concept through implementation

You'll Be a Great Fit If...

You enjoy building products, not just designing screens.

You're comfortable sitting down with a founder or CTO, looking at a problem from scratch, sketching out ideas, challenging assumptions, and turning those ideas into a product people actually want to use.

You can move between big-picture product thinking and pixel-level design details.

You don't need a fully defined requirements document to get started. You can take an ambiguous problem, ask the right questions, explore multiple approaches, and recommend a direction.

Most importantly, you care deeply about creating simple, intuitive experiences for real users.

Why ProMazo?

At ProMazo, you'll have a direct impact on a platform used by organizations to develop their people and create meaningful mentorship and internship experiences.

You'll work closely with our Founder and CTO, have significant influence over the product roadmap, and have the opportunity to help shape the next generation of the ProMazo platform.

This is an opportunity for someone who wants ownership, autonomy, and a meaningful voice in product decisions — not just another design role where you're handed requirements.

Interested?

If you're excited about product design, enjoy solving complex problems, and want to help build a platform used by Fortune 500 companies, we'd love to hear from you.

Please include a portfolio showcasing your UX/UI and product design work.
