Fall 2026| Student Worker – Gateway Program & Co-enrollment Assistant

We are seeking an enthusiastic Student Worker to support student engagement efforts for the on-site Gateway Program and off-site Co-Enrollment Programs. This position assists with student outreach, campus events, workshops, and student support initiatives that promote connection, engagement, and success. The role provides valuable experience in student engagement, event planning, professional communication, outreach, and program operations. 

Job Duties 

  • Responsibilities include: 
  • Conduct outreach to prospective students through email, text, and other communication channels to guide them through enrollment requirements and important deadlines. 
  • Communicate with current students regarding program updates, campus resources, deadlines, and engagement opportunities. 
  • Assist with management and engagement of the Gateway ZeeMee community and other social media accounts, including responding to student questions, and creating content to share program information and encourage participation. 
  • Assist with planning, promoting, and facilitating Gateway events, including weekly workshops, student check-ins, and other engagement activities. 
  • Welcome students, answer questions, and connect them with appropriate campus resources and services. 
  • Create and maintain student-facing materials such as emails, guides, presentations, and promotional content on social media. 
  • Assist with event logistics, attendance tracking, and follow-up communication. 
  • Maintain accurate records of student interactions and assist with tracking participation and engagement metrics. 
  • Support co-enrollment programs, recruitment efforts, special projects, and general office operations as assigned. 

Required Qualifications 

  • Minimum GPA: 2.25 
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills. 
  • Excellent customer service and interpersonal skills. 
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality and professionalism. 
  • Basic proficiency with Microsoft Office applications, including Word, Excel, Outlook, and PowerPoint. 
  • Strong attention to detail and organizational skills. 
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team. 
  • Dependable, punctual, and responsible work habits. 
  • Available to attend on-campus events and work independently.
