Technical Sales Specialist

Vector is seeking an experienced Technical Sales Specialist to join our sales team at our Novi, MI office. This is a key role supporting sales activities for specific regional accounts.
Position Description:
- Collaborate with the sales team to achieve overall sales objectives.
- Issue product pricing and follow up
- Perform Microsoft Dynamics Sales Case entry and tracking
- Work with SAP for Pricing and Order Processing
- Support internal and external sales inquiries as needed
- Initiate and prepare customer quotes in a timely manner. Monitor status and verify accuracy. Follow up on quotes and purchase orders as needed.
- Process customer orders including posting of order, shipping documentation, and invoicing.
- Facilitate information flow between functions to expedite orders to ensure successful order fulfillment; ultimately ensuring the customers’ expectations have been met.
Qualifications:
The ideal candidate will have:
- 1- 5 years of inside sales or industry-related experience.
- Excellent written and verbal skills
- Ambitious and willing to take on new tasks
- Proficient computer skills, especially with SAP, Microsoft Dynamics CRM, and Outlook
- Detailed organizational skills
- Adaptability/Flexibility (Hybrid work)
- Ability to work well both independently and within the team
- Excellent interpersonal, team, and problem-solving skills.
- Premium customer service minded
- Bachelor’s degree in business, Engineering, Computer Science, or related discipline; or equivalent combination of knowledge and experience.
