QC Lab Assistant – Allegan MI

 

Kelly Science and Clinical is currently recruiting for a qualified, full-time, contract QC Lab Assistant in the Allegan, Michigan area. This position is slated to last 12-18 months.

Responsibilities:

  • Receiving and logging into samples as the enter the lab via a SAP system 
  • Dispersing the samples through the lab
  • Performing checks in lab for inventory/quantities of reagents and chemicals
  • Ensuring glassware is cleaned and ready for use by other lab personnel/chemists
  • Utilizing industrial dishwashers for maintenance of glassware

 

Qualifications/Education/Skills: 

  • HS diploma required; open to a college student pursuing a life science degree, such as chemistry or biology
  • A scientific background is highly desirable as well as someone looking to pursue a career as a chemist or scientist in a laboratory setting.
  • Basic laboratory etiquette

Pay: $16/hr

Hours: ~20-25 hrs per week; Anticipated Mon – Thurs, 7AM – 5PMEST – hours can vary and be flexible for possibility of evening or weekend hrs– perfect for a student studying life sciences, or someone wanting to gain additional skills to become a scientist or chemist!
