Ripon, WI — on-site, 1st shift.

Join our Supplier Quality team in Ripon, WI, as a Supplier Quality Engineering Co-op. Working alongside our Supplier Quality Engineers, you will help qualify new parts, support investigations into supplier issues, and see how a supply base is managed.

Your Role: 

Support the qualification of assigned parts or a commodity group, including helping prepare and review PPAP submissions. 

Help track open supplier quality issues and assist the team in following them through to resolution. 

Assist with investigations into non-conforming material, supporting root cause analysis and the documentation of Supplier Corrective Action Requests (SCARs). 

Participate in supplier audits and technical reviews alongside your mentor, observing how quality systems and process capability are evaluated. 

Help compile supplier KPIs such as defects per million and on-time delivery, and prepare reject and warranty summaries for the management team. 

Support APQP activities and assist Design and Manufacturing Engineering with clarifying component specifications and tolerances. 

What We're Looking For: 

Skills and Abilities: 

Problem-solving ability paired with diplomacy and professionalism when communicating with supplier contacts. 

Blueprint reading ability, or readiness to learn it quickly, including the ability to interpret standards such as ASTM. 

Functional understanding of statistics as applied to quality, or coursework underway. 

Strong computer skills, including Excel; familiarity with SAP, Minitab, or Power BI is a plus. 

Willingness to ask questions and seek direction from your mentor and the broader Quality team. 

Education: 

Currently pursuing an associate or bachelor's degree in Engineering, Quality, Manufacturing, or Supply Chain, with sophomore standing or above, and eligible for a multi-term co-op through your school. 

Physical Requirements: 

The role involves a mix of sitting for extended periods, standing and walking the production floor, stooping, bending, and minimal lifting. Manual dexterity is also required. 

Occasional day or overnight travel to domestic supplier sites may be part of this role, always accompanied by your mentor. International travel is not required.
