Position Overview

T-TEK is a manufacturing company serving the beverage industry, and we are currently looking to hire a paid intern.

We are seeking a motivated, technology-minded AI & Business Operations Intern to help us improve how information, processes, and technology are used throughout our organization.

This role is ideal for a college student interested in artificial intelligence, business operations, information systems, process improvement, industrial engineering, data analytics, or automation who wants hands-on experience applying technology to real business challenges.

The intern will work across multiple departments to understand how work is currently performed, identify opportunities for improvement, and help implement practical solutions using tools such as ChatGPT Business, TrueContext, dashboards, digital forms, workflow tools, and other emerging AI technologies.

This is not intended to be a purely observational internship. The intern will be encouraged to explore new technologies, recommend better ways of working, and take ownership of projects that can be implemented within the business.

Responsibilities

  • Assist with the implementation and expanded use of ChatGPT Business and other AI tools throughout the organization.
  • Identify practical ways AI can improve business operations, productivity, communication, documentation, and decision-making.
  • Develop and improve TrueContext digital forms, inspections, service reports, checklists, and workflows.
  • Assist with improving company dashboards, KPI reporting, data presentation, and visibility of operational information.
  • Review existing business processes and identify opportunities to simplify, standardize, or automate them.
  • Work with employees across departments to understand current processes, challenges, and information needs.
  • Create and improve forms, templates, questionnaires, checklists, trackers, and standardized documents.
  • Document workflows and develop clear process maps, instructions, and standard operating procedures.
  • Identify repetitive manual tasks that could potentially be improved through automation or AI.
  • Help organize company information and procedures so employees can locate and use them more effectively.
  • Research new AI, automation, and business technology tools and recommend applications that could benefit the company.
  • Document completed projects so improvements can be maintained and expanded over time.

Qualifications

  • Currently pursuing a degree or education involving AI, information systems, computer science, business analytics, industrial engineering, business operations, or a related field.
  • Strong interest in applying AI and technology to real-world business problems.
  • Familiarity with AI tools such as ChatGPT or a strong desire to learn them.
  • Strong organizational, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
  • Comfortable learning how different departments and business processes operate.
  • Strong written communication and documentation skills.
  • Detail-oriented with an interest in making processes simpler, faster, and more effective.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office; experience with Excel, dashboards, databases, automation tools, or digital forms is a plus.
  • Comfortable working independently while collaborating with employees throughout the organization.
  • Curious and willing to experiment with new technologies and recommend new ideas.

What You Will Gain

This internship provides hands-on experience in:

  • Artificial intelligence in business operations
  • ChatGPT Business implementation
  • Digital forms and workflow development
  • TrueContext application development
  • Dashboard and KPI improvement
  • Business process improvement
  • Workflow analysis and automation
  • Process mapping and standard operating procedures
  • Data organization and reporting
  • Cross-functional project management
  • Manufacturing business operations

The intern will have the opportunity to take ownership of real projects, introduce new ideas and technologies, and see their solutions implemented within an operating manufacturing business.

We are looking for someone who is curious about what AI can do today—and equally interested in helping us discover what it could do for our business tomorrow.
