Ripon, WI — on-site, 1st shift.

This role places you alongside experienced quality engineers on the production floor of a high-volume manufacturing operation, where you will support real improvement work and learn the trade from people who do it every day.

Your Role: 

Support cross-functional projects aimed at reducing defects, strengthening process capability, and improving customer satisfaction. 

Participate in structured root cause and corrective action sessions using 8D, 5-Why, and fishbone methods, under the guidance of your mentor. 

Help gather, organize, and analyze quality data for an assigned production area, and assist the team in tracking action items on KPI boards. 

Assist with creating and updating Control Plans and PFMEAs, and support process and machine capability studies. 

Support Product Engineering and Manufacturing with new design introduction, and help maintain quality documentation to engineering specifications. 

What We're Looking For: 

Skills and Abilities: 

Proactive, hands-on contributor with strong written and oral communication skills. 

Ability to interpret technical drawings, including views, title blocks, dimensioning, and GD&T symbols, or the readiness to learn quickly. 

Coursework or exposure to statistics, Lean Six Sigma, or continuous improvement methods. 

Strong computer skills, including Excel; familiarity with Minitab, Power BI, or SAP is a plus. 

Willingness to ask questions and seek direction from your mentor and the broader Quality team. 

Education: 

Currently pursuing an associate or bachelor's degree in Engineering, Quality, or a Manufacturing discipline, with sophomore standing or above, and eligible for a multi-term co-op through your school. 

Physical Requirements: 

The role involves a mix of sitting for extended periods, standing and walking the production floor, stooping, bending, and minimal lifting. Manual dexterity is also required.
