Mechanical Engineering Intern

Position Overview:

Provide hands-on engineering support to the Mechanical Design team in the design, development, and validation of mechanical components for automotive mechatronic products. This role provides exposure to the product development process through CAD design, engineering documentation, and design verification activities.

Job Responsibilities may include:

• Assist with the design and development of mechanical components using CATIA V5.
• Support the creation and maintenance of project design documentation.
• Assist with 2D/3D drawings, GD&T, and design tolerance stack-ups.
• Support design verification and product validation activities to ensure requirements are met.
• Assist with the design and evaluation of plastic components and electromechanical products.
• Provide general engineering support to Mechanical Design Engineers as needed.

Qualifications:

• Currently pursuing a four-year degree in Engineering; Mechanical Engineering preferred.
• Experience with or exposure to CAD software (CATIA V5 preferred).
• Basic knowledge of 2D/3D drawings and GD&T.
• Familiarity with plastic component design and electromechanical products preferred.
• Strong attention to detail, problem-solving, and communication skills.
