PhD Fellowship in Science Education

Are you a recent or soon-to-be STEM PhD graduate? Would you like to spend up to six months making a global impact by teaching and developing science curriculum abroad?

Science Corps offers fully paid fellowships to STEM PhD graduates, empowering them to inspire students and build science capacity around the world. We are currently recruiting for fellowships starting in June 2027 at our host site, the Central Visayan Institute Foundation (CVIF) in the Philippines.

  • Make an Impact: Develop science curricula, teach secondary school classes, train local educators, and build community-based research projects. 
  • Fully Paid: Receive a stipend to cover your time and expenses for the 5-6 month duration.
  • Cultural Immersion: Live in beautiful Bohol, Philippines. Immerse yourself in a new culture, and learn alongside host educators.

 

Minimum Requirements:

  • Received in the past 4 years or are about to receive a PhD in a STEM discipline
  • Has not yet begun a faculty or similar level position
