Digital Accessibility Support and Help (DASH)

The Office of Equal Opportunity and Diversity (OEOD) partners with the Office of Vice Provost for Teaching and Learning (OVPTL) to promote and support UCI becoming an accessible teaching and learning environment. Students passionate in supporting accessibility on campus are invited to join the Digital Accessibility Support and Help  (DASH) Team to facilitate faculty to develop an accessible learning environment, support campus departments to create accessible websites and material, develop accessibility training resources, and provide accessibility training to various campus groups.  

A DASH member must be a regular enrolled full-time student at UCI and be able to schedule between eight and ten working hours per week. Tasks including accessibility of websites, Canvas courses, instructional materials, and other digital assets become more crucial to integration of people with disabilities as UCI increases its reliance on these technologies.
