In Home Caregiver Weekly Pay
Do meaningful work with a team that actually knows you.
At BrightStar Care of Honolulu, caregivers are not just an employee ID number. We are a locally owned and operated team with highly involved leadership that stays connected to our caregivers, listens when something is not working, and is there when you need support.
We're looking for compassionate, dependable caregivers to support individuals and families in their homes across Oʻahu.
For students pursuing nursing, health sciences, social work, psychology, public health, or other people-centered careers, this is also an opportunity to build meaningful hands-on experience while making a real difference in someone's life.
What you'll do
Depending on the client you're matched with, you may:
- Assist with bathing, dressing, toileting, grooming, and other personal care
- Support mobility, transfers, and daily routines
- Prepare meals and provide light household assistance
- Provide companionship and meaningful interaction
- Help clients remain safe and independent at home
- Observe changes and communicate with the BrightStar care team
Most of our clients require some level of hands-on personal care experience, so candidates who have previously cared for a family member, worked as a caregiver, CNA, or healthcare worker, or have similar practical experience are especially encouraged to apply.
CNA certification is not required for many of our caregiver positions, and we provide training and ongoing support to help caregivers continue building their skills.
