Academic Tutor

Onsight Education matches Portland families with independent tutors and music teachers for one-on-one lessons, in person or online. We find the students and handle scheduling and billing. You set your availability and choose which students you take on.

We're looking for tutors in:

• English, reading, and writing (middle school through college essays)
• Elementary support (K–5 reading and math)
• SAT/ACT prep

A good fit if you:

• Are studying or recently graduated in English, education, or a related field
• Have tutoring, teaching, or classroom experience with kids or teens
• Can do a few hours a week, in person around Portland or online

Pay: $40–$50 per hour, agreed per student

A background check is required. In-person work with students under 18 also requires fingerprinting.
