Staff Training: May 23 - June 5 (2 weeks)
Camp: June 6 - Aug 7 (9 weeks)
What You'll Do
- Capture high-quality photos across daily classes, animal sessions, and evening activities.
- Edit and upload daily photo galleries and slideshows to the parent website and storage folders.
- Assist campers with safe animal handling to compose well-structured photographs.
- Curate images for camper memory cards and write the daily parent newsletter.
- Support camper schedules, activity choices, rule adherence, and clean facility spaces.
- Apply positive guidance techniques to support campers' emotional and behavioral needs.
- Maintain equipment, keep cabin areas clean, complete daily logs, and attend staff meetings.
What You’ll Gain (Resume-Building Transferable Skills)

What We'll Provide
- Competitive Pay: Starting salary of $4,050 for the 11-week summer season.
- All-Inclusive Living: Full room, board, meals, and laundry services provided on-site for the duration of the contract—save on summer expenses!
- Camp Store Credit: Includes an additional $100 credit for snacks, gear, and supplies.
- Schedule: Position requires availability on-site 7 days a week (including weekends) for the contract period. To support rest and work-life balance, staff receive two 1-hour breaks each day and 1 scheduled day off every week.
What We’re Looking For
- High School diploma required; college coursework or majors in Photography, Journalism, Communications, Marketing, or related fields preferred.
- Valid driver's license required.
- Passion for photography, storytelling, science, animals, and child development.
- Comfortable working in an active outdoor environment, walking an average of 5 miles daily on uneven terrain, and working around animals (including snakes, spiders, and lizards).
- Strong core competencies in communication, self-motivation, teamwork, and taking constructive direction.
