2027 Summer News Internship
You will perform general assignment and beat reporting and write in-depth analytical pieces under supervision. You will research and write news stories and features for assigned publication(s), including beat reporting, with supervision.
What you will do:
- Hands-On Work Experience – Perform real work on deadline as a member of our team and walk away with a portfolio of clips.
- Learn to work with the sense of urgency and accuracy needed in a modern newsroom.
- Receive essential feedback and coaching from a mentor just as invested in your success as you are.
- Engage with senior leaders and expert professionals at Bloomberg Industry Group.

You need to have:
Three published news clips. Do not submit with your application. We will ask for them during initial screening.
- A drive to produce great journalism.
- Ability to pitch and write both breaking and enterprise stories.
- Desire to interview industry leaders and policymakers.
- Willingness to collaborate with our team of reporters and editors.
- At the start of Summer 2027, completed at least three years of an undergraduate program (i.e., a rising senior), just graduated from your college or university, or be enrolled in a graduate journalism program.
- Prior experience in journalism, including campus media.
- Ability to work within a team under deadline pressure.
