As a Public Health Advisor, you will:

  • Consult on, monitor, and measure the outcome of national and international public health program activities through studies which evaluate their effectiveness.
  • Review and assess the effectiveness of current public health policies and determine where new or changed policies are required to effectively execute public health programs. missions, and functions.
  • Plan, assign, review and evaluate the work of lower level team leader and non-supervisory positions.
  • Establish priorities, review and evaluate program results or activities, and make recommendations for changes and/or improvements in operations, workflow and other activities to resolve problems and increase effectiveness.

This position has 20% supervisory duties, candidates must also have demonstrated or shown the potential to develop the necessary knowledge, skills, and abilities.
