Marketing Intern
BRB Me Time is seeking a motivated and creative intern to help attract new patients and grow our nurse practitioner-owned medical aesthetics and wellness practice in Rocky River, Ohio.
This is not primarily a social media position. The intern will work directly with the owner to develop and carry out local and digital marketing strategies that generate qualified inquiries, consultations and appointments.
Responsibilities may include:
• Identifying and contacting potential community partners, including salons, fitness studios, dental offices, boutiques and real estate professionals
• Developing referral and cross-promotional opportunities
• Planning local events, pop-ups and educational promotions
• Distributing marketing materials and introducing BRB Me Time to nearby businesses
• Researching local search terms and patient needs
• Improving and regularly updating our Google Business Profile
• Assisting with website SEO, service pages, blogs and FAQs
• Ensuring business information is accurate across online directories
• Helping build legitimate local backlinks through community partnerships
• Assisting with email, text and promotional campaigns
• Researching competitors and identifying underserved local audiences
• Tracking how new patients discover the practice
• Monitoring website traffic, inquiries, consultations and booked appointments
• Supporting social media when it contributes to a broader patient-acquisition campaign
The ideal candidate is personable, creative, organized and comfortable reaching out to local businesses. Students studying marketing, communications, public relations, entrepreneurship or business are encouraged to apply. Familiarity with local SEO, Google Business Profile, Google Analytics, Canva, email marketing or digital advertising is helpful but not required.
This role offers hands-on experience developing measurable marketing campaigns for a growing healthcare business. Success will be evaluated through increased local visibility, partnerships, qualified leads and appointments—not simply the number of social media posts created.
All marketing must protect patient privacy, follow consent requirements and avoid unsupported medical claims.
