Must be licensed and in good standing to practice law in Hawaiʻi (J.D. required). Experience in criminal law, regulation, consumer protection, Native Hawaiian issues, or rehabilitation desirable.

What You’ll Do:

  • Draft bills, resolutions, reports, memos and legal opinions.
  • Research and interpret laws under tight deadlines.
  • Work closely with legislators and staff to shape policy.
