Job Summary:
Supermicro is looking for a Production Technician to perform testing of defective products, identify needed repairs, and ensures quality control for commercial standards and customer needs. Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
- Assemble products in production line
- Employ high standards of assembly work to ensure high-quality products are being produced on schedule
- Follow standard operating procedures and schedules to meet daily demans
- Perform in-process inspection to ensure products meet specifications and standards
- Maintain organized and safe work environment
- Follow instructions and respond to management direction
- Adhere to company and production department's policies and procedures
- Perform other assembly line duties, as directed by supervisor
- Perform a full range of tasks and correspondence as needed
Shift Information
Will work in the following shifts
- Morning Shift: 6:30am-3pm OR
- Swing Shift: 2:30pm-11pm
Physical Requirements and Work Conditions
The physical demands and work conditions described here are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this job include
- Ability to stand, sit, walk, bend, stoop, reach, lift, and carry items
- Perform tasks hat require standing and walking for long periods up to an entire shift
- Ability to life, carry, push, and pull more than 25lbs and up to 40lbs
- Ability to utilize a "buddy system" for moving objects more than 50lbs (For applicable positions: Must be able to operate pallet jack and forklift efficiently and safely.)
- Must be able to wear safety shoes, earmuffs or other required PPE as needed
- Primarily work indoors with controlled climate conditions
Qualifications:
Minimum Requirements
- Associate's degree
- Must be able to read and understand assembly instructions, production orders and all other documentation used to control processes
- Must be able to multi-task and meet deadlines
- Must be a self-motivated team player with a positive attitude
- Must have a strong work ethic
- Must be able to pay strong attention to detail, including accuracy and thoroughness
- Must have good communication skills; both written and verbal
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience with computer assembly (e.g. help desk, desktop, IT support, system administration, etc) preferred
Salary Range
$25.00/hr - $28.00/hr
The salary offered will depend on several factors, including your location, level, education, training, specific skills, years of experience, and comparison to other employees already in this role. In addition to a comprehensive benefits package, candidates may be eligible for other forms of compensation, such as participation in bonus and equity award programs.
