What You’ll Do
- Work one-on-one with high school students
- Explain academic content clearly and adapt your approach when a student isn’t understanding
- Help students strengthen executive functioning skills such as planning, organization, time management, task initiation, and study strategies
- Build meaningful relationships that help students feel supported and capable
- Coach students toward greater confidence, independence, and responsibility
- Maintain a consistent schedule of recurring weekly sessions

Every new coach completes a robust, paid training program designed to help you become a stronger teacher, mentor, and communicator. Our training program will help you not only in our workplace, but in your own life too!
Our Coach Trainer brings more than 30 years of teaching experience to your training program. Through hands-on training, shadowing, proven resources, and ongoing guidance, you’ll learn how to:
- Connect with people and build trust one-on-one
- Break down challenging concepts in clear, engaging ways
- Adapt your teaching to different students and learning needs
- Integrate executive functioning instruction into academic sessions
- Help students become more confident and independent learners
We don’t simply give you a student roster and expect you to figure it out. You’ll have experienced leadership, practical resources, and a collaborative team behind you.

A Better Way to Tutor
We’ve designed this role so you can spend more of your available time coaching students-- not driving between appointments, stressed out in Houston traffic or managing the logistics of scheduling multiple families.
- All sessions are one-on-one and take place in private offices at one Enrichery location
- Students can be scheduled back-to-back within your preferred availability
- No driving from one student’s home to another
- No added gas expenses or wear on your vehicle between tutoring appointments
- No finding your own clients or coordinating schedules with multiple families
- Recurring weekly sessions provide greater consistency and better student results
Compensation and Schedule
- $18–$25 per hour, depending on experience and qualifications
- W-2 employment— not a 1099 contractor role
- Taxes withheld through payroll, with The Enrichery paying the employer share of payroll taxes
- Paid training and shadowing
- Consistent hours through recurring weekly sessions
- Required: At least 15 hours of weekly availability, including four hours on Sundays
Our coaching hours are:
- Monday–Friday: 3:00–9:30 p.m.
- Sunday: 10:00 a.m.–6:00 p.m.
- Some offices are open on Saturdays as well
