Serving as our initial editor, working directly with our creator or producers to organize and prepare video and audio assets for air/online. This includes first-pass organization of raw footage, cutting selections, and timeline layouts of select content for social media, presentations, and hand-off to our program editors — along with classifying and uploading footage from the cameras used for filming to our drives and cloud, and supporting the ongoing storage, ingest, and distribution of media across our platform and series. Once trained and familiar with our workflow, this person can support these operations from our office and remotely, with the potential to be hired onto our team. Ideal candidates have at least a year of education or experience filming with portable cameras/iPhones, basic audio and lavalier microphone knowledge, and familiarity with editing programs, audio/video formats, and platforms such Apple/iCloud, Frame.io, Rode, and Google Workspace/Drive. We provide training and support in these areas, and look for excellent organization, a positive attitude, and a problem-solving mindset.
