Social Studies Teacher

!!Social Studies Teacher Wanted!!

Where: Cabarrus County – Concord North Carolina, United States 

This position is a year-round school and receives corresponding compensation. Salary is based on the NC Teaching Salary Schedule plus a 6% supplement

Salary Range: $42,000 - $62,916

Plus, corresponding pay for year-round assignment and 6% supplemental pay.

Management Preferences: 

Experience providing effective instruction to meet the needs of students with diverse needs. 

Experience in creating a safe environment for students utilizing behavioral management techniques.

Experience in creating lessons that coincide with Common Core State Standards and NC Essential Skills in order to improve student achievement.

Work Schedule: 

This is a full-time position. Work hours for this position are Monday-Friday 7AM -4:30 PM

Minimum Education and Experience

The candidate must possess a valid North Carolina teacher license, "A" or "M", with teaching certification in the area of Social Studies (middle school) or Social Studies (high school) or be eligible for a NC Teacher License through an alternative licensing pathway offered by NCDPI.  

The successful candidate must also have a four year college degree from an accredited post-secondary education institution.
