This is a unique opportunity being offered through the Dickinson in London: Summer Internship Program. If offered this opportunity, student will work with Dickinson staff to enroll in the Dickinson in London summer program.
Students are encouraged to attend the Saranac Partners Summer 2027 Investments & Financing Advisory Internship Info Session taking place at noon on Tuesday, Sept. 29, 20 learn more.
APPLICATION PROCESS:
- Apply in Handshake. You are required to submit your resume and a cover letter. In your cover letter, applicants should outline your reason for applying, provide a concrete example of your passion for global finance and investments, and include a key objective for your time during the internship. It is highly recommended that you meet with a career pathway advisor to review your materials before applying!
- Complete a mock interview. After submitting your application, you will be required to complete a mock interview with a career pathway advisor before Oct. 23. Applicants will be contacted with instructions for scheduling this appointment.
- Applicants who are selected for the next stage will receive additional instructions for meeting with Saranac Partners during the first week of November.
- The successful candidate will be required to apply to the Dickinson in London Summer Internship Program.

Internship Term:
8 weeks, June 7 - August 6, 2027
Main Duties & Responsibilities:
Saranac Partners offers a learning opportunity for students to develop an understanding of the world of finance in a private investment office focusing on investments and financing advisory for UHNWs, family offices, financial sponsors and corporates.
The program's core objective is to equip the intern with hands-on experience in business, with an emphasis on analytical and presentation skills, as well as exposure to financial markets and idea generation and development.
Duties and Responsibilities include:
- Supporting the preparation of reports, client presentations, pitch and marketing materials on both the investment and financing solutions desks
- Financial modelling and qualitative analysis of financing transactions
- Contributing to the client relationship management process
- Conducting research to support investment recommendations
- Assisting in the analysis of market trends and client portfolios
REQUIREMENTS
- Superior attention to detail
- Strong communication and presentation skills
- Very strong Microsoft Office competency (specifically Excel & PowerPoint)
- Organized with the ability to prioritize and be a self starter
- Students should have an expected graduation date between 2028-2030
- Minimum Dickinson GPA of 3.6
- Demonstrated interest and passion for a career in finance, specifically work related to investments, financing, and corporate advisory
- Basic understanding of financial markets, corporate finance, investment products, and industry trends. An interest in staying informed about market developments is required
- Demonstrated openness to feedback and a desire to develop skills relevant to the finance industry
- Students invited to interview will be required to conduct interview prep/mock interviews with Dickinson staff in the Center for Career Development
Language Requirements:
Fluent written and spoken English required.
The intern will have a dedicated line manager who they will meet with on a weekly basis and a ‘buddy’ for informal catch-ups.
TIMELINE:
Sept. 29, 12:00pm EST: Saranac Partners Summer 2027 Investments & Financing Advisory Internship Info Session
Oct. 16, 11:59pm EST: deadline to submit application materials to Dickinson
Oct. 23: student applicants must complete mock interview with Career Pathway Advisor
Oct. 26-30: Saranac identifies applicants for formal interview invitation
Nov. 2-6: Zoom interviews conducted with Saranac team
November TBD: Saranac communicates decisions to Dickinson contact, extends offer to student
November/December TBD – Student must commit to internship and participation in the London Internship Program, begin process for visa, housing, etc.
