Automotive Electrical Technician

Great opportunity for Automotive Technology students, recent graduates, and alumni!

We are looking for an entry-level Automotive Electrical Technician to join our team. This is a hands-on position working with automotive wiring, electrical systems, and vehicle components. You will receive training and mentoring from experienced technicians while gaining valuable real-world experience.

What You’ll Do

• Build, install, and test automotive wiring and wire harnesses.
• Use hand and power tools to assemble and modify components.
• Read and follow wiring diagrams, schematics, blueprints, and work instructions.
• Perform electrical testing, troubleshooting, calibration, and safety checks.
• Inspect wiring and assemblies to make sure they meet quality standards.
• Modify, repair, and rework existing automotive wire harnesses.
• Work with a team on automotive projects and new vehicle technologies.
• Keep the work area organized and safe.

What We’re Looking For

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Automotive Technology, Electrical, Engineering Technology, or related education is a plus.
• Automotive students, recent graduates, and alumni are encouraged to apply.
• Comfortable using basic hand and power tools.
• Ability to read or learn to read wiring diagrams and schematics.
• Interest in automotive electrical systems, EVs, powertrain systems, or vehicle technology.
• Good communication skills and a willingness to learn.
• Ability to work overtime or occasional weekends when needed.

Preferred Experience

• ASE certification or automotive training.
• Experience with automotive electrical systems.
• Experience with EV/battery systems, powertrain, chassis, or other vehicle systems.
