As a Physician (Public Health), you will:

• Serve as a subject matter expert on Clinical Laboratory Improvement Amendments of 1988 (CLIA) requirements and diagnostic testing, offering technical assistance, regulatory interpretation, and decision support to ensure compliance with quality standards.
• Analyze proficiency testing results, quality control data, incident reports, and laboratory performance metrics to drive continuous improvement and meet regulatory requirements.
• Ensure staff competency assessments, ongoing education, and professional development activities meet CLIA and CDC standards for laboratory operations.
• Review and evaluate method verification and validation documentation for high complexity laboratory testing to confirm adherence to CLIA requirements and ensure test accuracy and reliability.
