Over the course of the summer, candidates will learn commercial real estate underwriting by using Argus and Excel to model cash flows, evaluate real estate investment opportunities, and analyze market and trade area demographics. After the program, standout summer interns may receive the opportunity to work at Longpoint full time starting in the summer of 2028.

Learning Objectives

  • Collaborate with the acquisitions team to evaluate investment opportunities
  • Assist in the presentation of investment opportunities to the investment committee
  • Create forward-looking cash flow models to support a valuation or investment thesis
  • Perform research to assess real estate trends relevant to the Firm’s strategic goals and objectives
  • Assist with the development of business plans for real estate opportunities involving market research, data collection, and underwriting
