Product Management Intern

Product Management Intern — Fall 2026

About Restart

What will companies look like in five years?

Restart is the AI company builder that lets anyone launch and run a business by describing their idea. AI agents handle engineering, strategy, marketing, sales, incorporation, and day-to-day operations.

We believe the next generation of companies will be built by tiny human teams working alongside hundreds of AI agents.

We are a lean team working together in person in San Francisco every day.

Backed by Pareto Holdings and early investors in companies including Ramp, Mercury, Vercel, and more than 50 unicorns.

The Role

The best product managers do not just manage roadmaps. They figure out what should exist—and make sure it gets built.

This is not an internship where you update tickets, take meeting notes, and wait for someone to give you requirements.

You will work directly with the founders, engineers, designers, and users to shape Restart from the ground up. You will study how people turn ideas into companies, identify where they get stuck, and design AI-native experiences that move them forward.

You are half product thinker, half builder.

Your job is to make starting and running a company feel so simple that anyone can do it.

What You Will Own

Product discovery. Talk to founders, watch them use Restart, uncover what they actually need, and translate those insights into product decisions.

Product strategy. Help determine what we should build, what we should ignore, and what will make Restart fundamentally different from every other AI product.

Feature execution. Turn ambiguous ideas into clear requirements, user flows, prototypes, experiments, and shipped features.

AI agent experience. Design how founders work with Restart’s agents across planning, engineering, research, marketing, sales, incorporation, approvals, and ongoing operations.

Our next generation of founders. Help onboard users, study how they build, collect feedback, and turn what we learn into a product people cannot stop using.

What We Are Looking For

You have exceptional product taste. You immediately notice when something is confusing, ugly, slow, or unnecessary.

You are deeply curious about how companies are built and how AI will change entrepreneurship.

You can take a vague problem, develop a strong point of view, and turn it into something concrete.

You move quickly. You would rather test an imperfect idea today than debate the perfect version for three weeks.

You are unusually good at something. Maybe you built an app for your friends, grew an online community, automated your family’s business, sold something on the internet, or launched a strange side project.

You have high agency. When you see a problem, you take responsibility for solving it.

You want to build something generational.

Bonus

You have built products using AI coding or no-code tools.

You understand LLMs, AI agents, prompting, evaluations, or tool-calling systems.

You have experience with Figma, Linear, PostHog, SQL, or product analytics.

You have launched a startup, side project, consumer product, or online business.

How We Work

This is an in-person Fall 2026 internship based in San Francisco.

We work five to six days a week from our office. One of those days is social time: we go to concerts, eat KBBQ, attend events, decompress, and remember that we are humans. The rest of the time, we are building.

If you want a traditional internship, this is probably not for you.

If you want to help define how the next generation of companies will be built, come build Restart with us.
