Position Overview

Are you and your spouse called to a ministry of healing, restoration, and daily discipleship? We are seeking a mission-minded, married Houseparent Couple to live on campus and lead one of our residential cottages.

In this vital role, you will build a safe, structured, and nurturing family-style environment for up to 6 girls (ages 12–18). By living out a healthy, faithful Christian marriage, you will model grace, forgiveness, and biblical conflict resolution, serving as the front lines of emotional and spiritual growth for residents overcoming challenging life situations.

Core Responsibilities

• Spiritual Leadership: Lead daily devotional studies, model a personal life of faith, and actively guide the girls in weekly church and youth group activities.
• Relational Mentorship: Assist girls with their emotional and physical needs using trauma-informed, nurture-rich care. Speak truth in love while establishing consistent boundaries and expectations.
• Home Life Management: Create a welcoming, clean, stable, and safe household. Coordinate, plan, and prepare well-balanced meals and manage daily routines.
• Life Skills Teaching: Teach practical daily living, social skills, personal hygiene, and self-control lessons to help the girls mature.
• Team Collaboration: Work closely with the Program Director, therapist, teacher and other houseparents to support each girl’s unique goals and treatment plan.

Term & Schedule

• Work Rotation: Features a consistent, sustainable 4 weeks on / 2 weeks off schedule, offering generous downtime (16-18 weeks per year) to rest, recharge, and connect.

Job Qualifications

• Spiritual Maturity: Both spouses must be active, faithful members of a local church with outstanding references from church leadership.
• Marriage Structure: Must be a husband-and-wife team in a stable, healthy Christian marriage.
• Health: Sound spiritual, mental, and physical health
• Background Clearances: Clean criminal record and the ability to successfully pass comprehensive childcare screenings, drug tests, and background checks.
• Education & Licensing: High school diploma or GED required (college experience or background in human services is a plus). Both must possess a valid driver’s license.
