Investor Relations Intern
Company Description Connex AI is the company behind HealthPOD, a healthcare workforce marketplace that matches healthcare professionals with facilities using AI-driven skill and competency profiling. We are currently raising a seed round to accelerate development and scale operations, building on momentum from our participation in the HBS Foundry Catalyst program. We are looking for a driven, highly organized Investor Relations Intern to work directly with the CEO and drive our fundraising pipeline.
Role Description As our Investor Relations Intern, you will be the engine behind our top-of-funnel fundraising momentum. This role is built for a hustler with exceptional written communication skills and a strong interest in the venture capital and healthtech ecosystem. You will not be fetching coffee; you will be managing relationships and directly influencing the success of our funding round.
Core Responsibility
- Pipeline Generation: Research and build a targeted, data-rich list of venture capital firms, angel investors, and family offices that invest in healthtech, labor and workforce marketplaces, and on-demand staffing platforms.
- Outreach & CRM Management: Draft compelling, personalized cold outreach emails. Maintain our investor CRM (Streak, within Gmail) to track all communications, ensuring no follow-ups or deadlines slip through the cracks.
- Network Capitalization: Organize and maximize contacts made through recent networking events, bootcamps, and pitch presentations to strategically warm up outbound efforts.
- Investor Briefings: Prepare concise bios and investment thesis summaries for target partners ahead of founder meetings.

- Familiar with, or highly eager to learn about, the venture capital landscape, startup fundraising, and healthtech or marketplace business models.
