Behavioral Intervention Assistant

Definition

Under genera supervision, provides instruction to individual or small groups of students with behavioral challenges in accordance with the prescribed course of instruction; observes, monitors and records student behavior and performance; assists teachers in maintaining student academic and attendance records; and performs related duties as assigned.

Required Certification/Documents

Applications must be submitted with a copy of High School Diploma or G.E.D. AND college transcripts (min. of 48 semester units) to be considered for this position.  Driver's License required.  

Note: transcripts and degrees earned outside of the United States must be accompanied by a full evaluation report from a regionally accredited foreign credential evaluation agency.
