SALES REP- COMMUNITY SOLAR PROGRAM

This is field work. Most days you are on porches, at community events, or walking assigned neighborhoods in and around Wilmington. If you want a desk job, this is not it.

 

HOW YOU GET PAID

  • Commission only: $200–$500 per accepted account (varies by program and customer type) Average reps enroll 1-3 per day
  • Weekly pay
  • Realistic first 90 days for someone who works a full field week: often $800–$2,000/week once trained
  • Consistent producers who treat this like a profession regularly land in the $70k–$120k range and our top performers are making 200k+
  • No cap. No fake “$5,000/week average” for people who just started, but we do have reps that make this a week.

We will tell you the truth in the interview: close rates, what a good day looks like, and what happens when a deal cancels. If that sounds refreshing, keep reading.

WHAT YOU ACTUALLY DO

  • Talk with homeowners and renters about community solar.
  • Qualify utility, residency, and program rules before you enroll anyone
  • Work pop-ups, churches, community centers, and local events
  • Use our scripts and compliance process
  • Track your own numbers. We post leaderboards. We do not hide results.

WHO THIS IS FOR

You will do well here if you:

  • Are comfortable talking to strangers every day
  • Show up on time, work the full block, and do not need to be babysat
  • Care more about doing it right than slamming a signup
  • Want coaching, not a motivational speech

Sales, canvassing, collections, serving, retail, military, sports, or community outreach experience helps. It is not required. Integrity and work rate are required.

WHO THIS IS NOT FOR

  • Anyone looking for remote work
  • Anyone who needs to exaggerate to close
  • Anyone who disappears after two hard days

REQUIREMENTS

  • 18 or older
  • Able to work in person in Wilmington and surrounding DE communities
  • Reliable transportation
  • Smartphone
  • Willing to work.
