Job Overview
Villa Victoria Academy, a Catholic, independent, college preparatory school for young women in grades
6–12, is located in Ewing, New Jersey, in Mercer County along the scenic Delaware River. Villa Victoria Academy provides a nurturing learning environment characterized by small class sizes, strong student-
faculty relationships, and a commitment to faith-integrated academic excellence. We are seeking a skilled and dedicated Director for our annual Spring Musical. This is a part-time, seasonal position. The successful candidate will be a professional, diligent, and collaborative individual who demonstrates respect, initiative, a strong work ethic, and a commitment to the holistic development of young people.


KEY QUALIFICATIONS & RESPONSIBILITIES:
• Embrace, support, and contribute to advancing the Catholic mission and philosophy of Villa Victoria Academy.
• Be knowledgeable of theatre arts production and be able to effectively teach and communicate performing arts fundamentals.
• Be knowledgeable of musical theatre; experience working with MS to HS age students is preferable.
• Oversee and carry out the tasks associated with the Middle/High School Musical production.
• Be able to identify and grow student talent, promote individual creativity and assist students in gaining confidence through theatre arts performance.
• Possess excellent communication, organizational and collaboration skills and demonstrate an ability to build relationships with students, parents, staff and administration.


POSITION REQUIREMENTS:
• Availability for rehearsals 3-4 times a week during after school hours (3:30-5:30pm) and on some
Saturdays (1-4pm) during the months of January-March.
• Availability for the show dates: March 12, 13, 14, 2027.
• Availability for auditions during November/December 2026.
• Selected candidates must be able to produce valid (1) NJ State Criminal Record Check, (2) FBI Criminal History Record Investigation, and (3) NJ DHS Child Abuse History Clearance. Selected Candidates must also complete VIRTUS online training if you have not previously been employed by a Catholic institution.
