Preschool Classroom Assistant Teacher

Location: East Stroudsburg, Pennsylvania | Onsite | Part-Time | 12 hours/week

MSPC Preschool is looking for an Assistant Teacher to join our team Monday, Wednesday, and Friday mornings from 8:30 AM to 12:00 PM. This is a hands-on role working directly with young children in a nurturing classroom environment. What you'll do

- Support the lead teacher in planning and carrying out daily classroom activities - Engage children in age-appropriate learning, play, and creative projects - Maintain a safe, welcoming, and structured classroom environment - Observe and respond to children's individual needs with patience and care - Assist with snack time, transitions, and general classroom routines - Communicate regularly with the lead teacher and preschool staff

About you

- High school diploma required (minimum) - At least 2 years of experience working with young children - Comfortable working as part of a small, close-knit team - Reliable and consistent schedule availability Monday, Wednesday, and Friday mornings

Nice to have

- Background in early childhood education or child development - Experience in a structured preschool or daycare setting - CPR/First Aid certification
