Position Summary

Thrive Center is seeking experienced and dedicated licensed special education providers to join our team. We have full-time, part-time, and remote-eligible positions available in public, private, and charter schools throughout NYC, where you'll provide instructional support to students. The provider will work with students individually or in small groups to support academic achievement, address learning gaps, and help students access the general education curriculum. Grades K-12

Responsibilities

• Provide instruction to students as per student's program
• Develop and implement individualized lesson plans aligned with students educational goals.
• Modify and adapt curriculum materials to meet diverse learning needs.
• Monitor student progress and maintain accurate service logs and session notes.
• Prepare and submit progress reports in alignment with IEP timelines.
• Collaborate with Thrive team
• Use evidence-based instructional strategies to support student growth.
• Support students in developing organizational, behavioral, and study skills.
• Other tasks.

Requirements

• Master's degree in education
• Valid State Certification required in: Special Education or students with disabilities
• Experience working with students with disabilities is preferred.
• Strong understanding of content for working age group.
• Excellent communication, organizational, and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work independently as well as a part of a team.
